Please pray for my brother Lee.  A tree fell on top of his home.  The damage is really bad.  He's had a really rough year on top of this and I fear he's at his breaking point.  Please pray for the Lord to cover him in his protection.  And for my brother to open up and lean on our Lord. 

Please pray for Janine. She is a pastors wife. She just found out that she has stage 4 thyroid cancer that has spread to her lungs. Her and her husband (Gary) are faithfully and successfully serving the Lord. He is the pastor of Calvary Chapel Pomona (a small growing church). Pray for Gary for guidance as to how to proceed with the medical treatment.  Satan is trying to hinder and even stop their ministry. Please pray.

Please pray for us and our parents that we’d all have a great trip this week. Please pray we’d all be in a great mood, sleep great and have lots of energy, that the Lord would lead us, guide us, bless us and keep us safe, and for great weather.

My friend has blood cancer and the doctor told him to call hospice, but he wants to fight it. Please pray that the Lord would heal him and that he could find the doctors that will help him through this.

Please pray for our missionaries to Tepic, Mexico, Saul and Angelica Alvarez who sent the following updates and prayer requests:

• I have some prayer requests from the women’s bible study. I am going to briefly summarize them in four prayers: 

  1 Salvación for their families.

  2 Health for some members of their families.

  3 Better opportunities of a job.

  4 Protection from adversity.

• I also want to let you know that this next coming month I will sign a new rent contract for the church building. We have been renting the place for two years already. We pay $ 450 a month but the owner will increase the rent $ 50 dollars every two years. In this new contract we as a church will have to pay $ 500 dollars every month.  Please pray for provision to keep up with the rent.
