THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 16

What a great week we had last week! In preparation for the fall and all the opportunities we have as a church family, we hosted our Fall Kickoff event. For those of you who weren’t able to attend, we’ve made the video of that evening available, and you can access it here. There was some really great info and vision shared, and I’d encourage each of you to take the time to watch and pray through how the Lord would like you to be connected this fall.

For this week, we have some specifics on upcoming opportunities. Please take a minute to watch this video from Pastor Reggie, and then read through the information below.

CULTIVATE 2021 – Learn how to cultivating a Christ-centered life. In the midst of a culture faced with political unrest, racial tension, and families in turmoil, we as followers of Christ must learn how to trust God. Join us as we discuss practical ways to remove personal and cultural idols and center our lives solely on Jesus. Cost is $15 per person. Register before October 1 and get $5 off! Click here to register online.

UPWARD BASKETBALL - Upward Basketball teaches children the love of the Lord, utilizing the sport of basketball. We have a heart to serve families in our church body, and reach the children in our community and their families. Practices are weeknights Jan 3-Mar 4. Games are on Saturdays, Jan 15-Mar 5. Register at calvaryboise.com. Cost is $140 per participant.  Register by Oct 16 for $15 off.

CLASSES AT CALVARY – Our classes are designed to give specialized equipping to believers in a way that helps them to grow in the "head, heart, and hands" of being a disciple of Jesus. These classes include instruction in the Bible, mentorship for personal growth, and practical application in all of life as you are equipped to live out the way of Jesus in the area of instruction. This fall we have Pain to Purpose, Wednesdays at 6:30PM in Building 500, beginning September 22; as well as Following the Way of Jesus, Sundays at 9:15am in Building 500, beginning September 26. Sign up for both of these classes at calvaryboise.com/classes.

Just sign up here, or email kirk@calvaryboise.com for additional info.

WEEKLY GATHERINGS – The recent policy from the Boise Mayor’s office regarding large gatherings has brought up some questions about how this affects us at Calvary Boise. To clarify, the policy applies to gatherings in Boise City facilities and those requiring permits from the City of Boise, but it doesn’t apply to our gatherings. We are continuing to meet Sundays in person at 9:15AM and 11:15AM, and everyone is welcome. We also livestream our 9:15AM service for those who aren’t able to join us in person. You can access that on calvaryboise.com, Facebook, and YouTube.

Along with our Sunday services, we have a lot going on throughout the week for adults and kids. Visit calvaryboise.com/online for a listing.
