UPDATES (most current listed first)

THURSDAY, MARCH 14

This morning's prayer was a beautiful time together shifting our focus to asking God to give us our daily bread. What seems like such a simple request is actually a deep and layered concept. Pastors Noah and Habil sat down in the studio this morning to discuss it, and I recommend clicking on the image below to give it a listen. You can also click here to view the resource they discuss that Pastor Habil put together that they didn't have time to go through. Continue to go through this as you pray this week for God to provide for us.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 23

Happy Thanksgiving! What a joy it is to be able to spend focused time thanking God for the many ways he has blessed us all. In whatever ways you celebrate, we pray that you are blessed and encouraged that our God loves us so deeply.

Because of the holiday, this week's email is coming a day early. Also, there aren't any activities happening on the church campus November 23-25, so we'll see you all on Sunday!

While we take some time to slow down this week, we also know that the Christmas season is just beginning, and with it comes a variety of ways to stay connected as a church family while celebrating Jesus. To serve as a guide for all things Christmas, Pastor Matt and I sat down to talk through what's coming up. You can watch that video below.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 9

As we head into the weekend, please be in prayer for the youth of our valley. The past few weeks have been very difficult, with several students taking their own lives, and most recently an incident at a Boise school that was stopped by law enforcement before it could escalate.

As a church family, we have the opportunity to be there for our youth in many ways. Most importantly, please pray that the God of all comfort would comfort these kids in their troubles (2 Corinthians 1:3), and that He would use us to minister to them as they sort through all of this. Additionally, we can let the students in our lives know how loved and important they are. Let's commit to making the effort to acknowledging and encouraging our youth whenever we have the opportunity to do so.

On another note, below is information on some things coming up in the next few weeks, as well as info on ways we can all give to serve families and individuals in need. Please take a minute to look through the info below, click on the images for more info, and view a broader listing of upcoming events at calvaryboise.com/events.
