"Teach Us to Pray," our 40 Days of Prayer series leading up to Easter, started today. The video below is a recap of what Noah and Tucker led us in this morning. We were blessed to have so many of you with us today, and wanted the opportunity for any of you who weren't able to be here to also join on this journey with us.

JuniorSml2Join us Sat, Jan 27 at 9:00AM in a time of remembrance of Junior Ramos, who passed away Dec 28. He came to our church in the Summer of 2022 with a broken heart and no hope. In August 2022, he gave his life to Jesus. This will be a time of fellowship over breakfast, a short time in the word, and sharing about Junior. Please RSVP to let us know if you will attend.

CraftswithKidsSmlJoin us Sat, Jan 27 in an elderly care facility. You and your kids will have the chance to get to know the residents  as you join them in making a Bible-themed craft project. It seems as though tonight's snow has just gotten started. Predictions for snowfall amounts vary, but it looks like we'll get a significant amount. With that in mind, we know many of you are wondering whether we'll have services tomorrow.

Services will continue as scheduled tomorrow, January 14 at 9:15AM and 11:15AM on campus at Calvary Boise.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 9

As we head into the weekend, please be in prayer for the youth of our valley. The past few weeks have been very difficult, with several students taking their own lives, and most recently an incident at a Boise school that was stopped by law enforcement before it could escalate.

As a church family, we have the opportunity to be there for our youth in many ways. Most importantly, please pray that the God of all comfort would comfort these kids in their troubles (2 Corinthians 1:3), and that He would use us to minister to them as they sort through all of this. Additionally, we can let the students in our lives know how loved and important they are. Let's commit to making the effort to acknowledging and encouraging our youth whenever we have the opportunity to do so.

Auditions for this year's Kids Christmas Program will take place this Sunday, November 12 at 12:45PM in Preschool-100. These auditions are for kids ages 3rd-5th grade, and the performance will be Wed, Dec 13 at 6:30PM. For details emailkids@calvaryboise.com.

 

SingleMomsSmlIf you are a single mom, join us the third Friday of the month in the Youth Building. We’ll share a meal, connect with each other, spend time in the Word, and encourage one another.

 

LegacySmlThe Bible paints the picture of intergenerational community where older saints can use their gifts and build a gospel legacy. If you are an empty nester or older, join us to eat lunch and discuss opportunities for God to continue to use you.

FoodPantry2023SmlOur food pantry shows the love of Christ to families in the valley by providing food and prayer. To help, you can drop non-perishable items in the bins in the Lobbies during business hours and at Sunday services. We currently need chili, peanut butter, canned fruit, soup, mac and cheese, tuna, and spaghetti sauce.
