"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." –Matthew 28:18-20

Jesus Christ calls and empowers His church to follow His example and bring God’s Kingdom to Earth. Because we want to live like Him and follow His Holy Spirit we are dedicated to equipping saints to preach the Gospel and make disciples. We also believe in the imperative to do this in the context of the mission He gave us. Therefore Calvary Boise is dedicated to both send missionaries and being sent to people who haven’t heard the Gospel—in our community, nation, and throughout the world.

PastorTuckerWhen I answered the call to pastor this church I wasn’t entirely sure where God was leading us. Through timely counsel and the wisdom of God’s Word I decided to not step out into anything new until I had led through thick and thin for at least three years. It is by no small coincidence that on the exact day that I complete my third year as your pastor, I will be boarding a plane with our missions pastor to take part in a global prayer conference for unreached peoples. There is a new move of the Spirit for the mission of our church, and like all new things it must begin with prayer. It is time for me to ask you to join me in the first step in any fruitful mission by asking you to pray.
With Joy and Excitement,
Pastor Tucker

PastorMartinChrist’s heart is to leave the 99 to find the one lost sheep. He cares deeply about the lost and we should too. As His followers, the task is clearly to take the Gospel where it is not yet known. We believe God is preparing us for a new work — reaching the least-reached of our day. The Islamic world needs more witnesses and God is giving them “ears to hear.” More Muslims have come to follow Isa al-Masih (Jesus the Messiah) in the last 15 years than in the previous 1,500 combined. They are thirsty for Living Water and simply need willing vessels to take it to them. We are asking you to join us in prayer as we travel to Turkey to seek God’s direction for our role in His mission to “seek and save the lost.”
Grace and Peace,
Pastor Martin

The conference we are attending is a unique opportunity for churches from around the globe to unify in prayer for the unreached world. Here are some ways that you can pray:

1. PURPOSE: Pray that our church would have a fresh desire to reach the unreached (Philippians 3:12).
2. PERSEVERANCE: Pray that God will give us the grace to press on toward the prize of a new generation of believers (Philippians 3:13-14).
3. PARTNERSHIP: Pray that God will open up a new door to the mission field through unified relationships (Philippians 3:15-17).

Missions seems simple but it is very complex. We wrote the Missions Convictions for this reason—to bring our church family into a unified vision of how and why we navigate our role in God’s mission. If you call Calvary Boise your family, we encourage you to read and know the contents of this document.

In order to effectively and healthily send our global missionaries, we are building sending teams around each missionary to provide the financial, prayer, and logistical support they need. These teams commit to a period of service and meet up regularly to fellowship and pray for their missionary. To join a team and support a missionary, please read the Advocacy Teams DNA booklet and then contact

Already support a missionary financially or with prayer? Wonderful! You're already doing the work of their Advocacy Team! We'd love to get you updated on the new ways we're staying connected. Please contact and we'd love to plug you in.
