Prayer

Daily Prayer Requests

  • My friend just let me know her husband’s tests showed he has colon cancer. They are waiting to hear if it has spread or not. She said they are all in shock still and the news has not sunk in yet, and she also seemed solid in knowing God has a plan and has something to teach them through this. Please pray for this Calvary family with 3 young boys and also his mom (Grammy) who lives with them.

  • Thank you for praying for my dad. It’s been a long busy week but he’s doing well in regards to the bypass/open heart and valve replacement.  However, there was a complication with the reintroduction of his blood from the bypass machine back into his arm.  It resulted in the surgeon having to operate on his arm to save it.  It’s added time and complications but he’s healing and we hope he’ll be released for home in the next day or so.

  • Please pray that I would not be sick.

  • Praise that my mom went home from the hospital after 12 days she is doing great and feeling stronger each day. Thankful that I was able to return home yesterday. I see God’s hand in making my trip home possible as my son Tristen suffered the loss of a friend in a tragic car accident last night. We talked through it and with broken hearts ask for prayers for everyone involved as there was another vehicle involved and another family lost a wife and mom. Tristen questioned if he had witnessed enough to this friend and if he was saved. I know God can bring good out of tragedy.

  • Please pray for our missionaries to Oaxaca, Mexico, Misael, Antonio and Carmen Hernandez who sent the following updates and prayer requests:

    • Thanks for your prayers!  They are so important and give strength to the Oaxaca family and me.

    • Tomorrow Pastor Antonio and Carmelita go to San Juan Ihualtepec mission to continue the work on the church building.  Please pray for them, for safety and good travel on the way.

    • Thanks for prayers!  It is so important for us and gives strength and encouragement to continue the work here in Oaxaca and its towns.

    • Please pray for my family and me.  This last week my grandmother passed away.  We know she is with the Lord, and there is comfort in God and rest in his promise.
