Prayer

Daily Prayer Requests

  • Pray for my son to find a job.

  • Please pray for my brother’s health to be restored.

  • Pray for my vacation. Pray that my duties will be covered with the same level of professionalism that I try and consistently achieve.  Pray for my co-workers and for my manager.  I am so thankful to be part of an amazing group and team of people.

  • Praying for my health to improve. I feel tired and I know it’s only getting worse as the winter approaches.

  • Will you please pray for a 16 year old girl who had a papilloma removed from her tonsils? They are testing to make sure it isn’t cancerous.  Pray for peace in their hearts until results are in.  Pray for protection that it is not cancer.

  • Please pray for our missionaries to Slovenia, Ales and Whitney Lajar who sent the following updates and prayer requests:

    • It's unbelievable how much can happen in a month. The last time we wrote. we just signed the contract for our new church building (see picture with a rainbow above it.) In just three weeks we completely emptied out the old building of everything and handed the keys over to our previous landlady today. The help of Jaren, Nate, and Laci, from the CC Boise team, throughout the month of September was invaluable and we are eternally grateful for all they've done and contributed in the moving process.

    • We have successfully had three church services now in the new location which is the picture of the large crowd in the upper room.  Every service so far has gone better than we hoped or expected, with the first service having exactly 50 people that came, fulfilling the vision that Whitney had a few years back about the new location we were moving to, where in the vision we led exactly 50 people to an upper room to serve them food. This last Sunday we had 66 people already attending and the days of multiplication almost seemed too fast already.

    • We are using the upper room for Sunday services, and have a coffee shop rented 24/7 for all other ministries. All of the ministries that have used the downstairs coffee shop area, have been adjusting really well to the new environment, and those that have come by and gotten served by us in the process have all given abundantly positive reports and feedback.

    • As we move into October, we would appreciate your prayers when it comes to putting things that we have tested out in the month of September, now into practice fully with new ministries needing volunteers, from ushers, to those that are going to help people park, etc. Also, having teams of people to set up and break down the upper room, that is only rented on Sundays.
