Prayer

DAILY PRAYER REQUESTS

  • Please pray for Jeanne who has cataract surgery this morning. Pray that the Lord will guide the surgeon’s hands and that there will be no infection or undue pressure. Pray that God will be glorified in the recovery and that it will be fast and complete.

  • Kim asks that we pray for her granddaughter, Gabrielle, who has special needs and underwent brain surgery Monday in Portland, in the hope of alleviating seizures. Please pray for God's healing in her care and that her family will feel the presence and comfort of his mighty hands.

  • Please pray for Dan who has an emergency custody hearing today. His ex-wife left their home area with his children two months ago and he has not seen them since. He is a believer. Pray that he will lean on Christ during this very challenging time and that his kids will be restored to him. Pray that the children are protected and that their hearts are turned to the Lord.

  • Pray for Pete's adult daughter who was in a terrible car accident. She is having a second surgery this week. Pray for her recovery and for the whole family to come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

  • Pray that Justin, whose dad Derick is fighting brain cancer, will have a blessed birthday today. Pray that his confidence in the Lord will grow and that he will find his way to the center of God’s perfect will.

The following is an anonymous request:

  • Please pray for a young woman who is making a very poor choice. She is intelligent and she knows the truth of Christ. Pray she will not listen to the enemy's lies.

  • Please continue to pray for the National Day of Prayer Rally. Pray that thousands will turn out on the State Capitol steps Thursday, May 3, at noon. Pray for Pastor Tucker as he prepares to lead the group in prayer for the church. Ask God to stir the hearts of people from throughout the valley to unite in prayer. Pray that at least 50 people from every Bible-believing church will attend.
