Prayer

Daily Prayer Requests

  • Please pray for my son. He just got a good job in a trade but is struggling with the early hours. Pray that he doesn’t quit. This is the first time he has worked for Christians and I think the atmosphere is so much better than the last few jobs that he had.

  • Please pray for Adrian. He's a 16 year old who has encephalitis. He's in Children's Hospital in Seattle. His mother, Magdalena, has lost her insurance due to being off work with her son. She is also on dialysis due to kidney disease. He and his family are Christians.

  • Please pray for my mom Lorraine’s salvation and pray for her healing. She lost her hearing, has memory loss, bad posture, body pain, and high blood pressure. Pray for excellent health. Pray for a long life for Lorraine.

  • Please pray for my husband. He works in an environment where there is so much darkness.  Constant darts come at him from the enemy.  Lies, deceit, temptation and all around sin nature surround him daily.  Pray that he trusts and relies on the Lord for his guidance.  Pray he leans NOT on his own understanding but that he would continue to know the Lord and trust in HIM for his path.  Thank you.

  • Praises!!! My daughter has started asking me more about the bible and wants to hear more about prayer.  Give me the Lord’s Words to share with her.

  • Please pray for our missionaries to Slovenia, Ales and Whitney Lajar who sent the following updates and prayer requests:

    • Our new church building is serving us much better than we anticipated. We have been able to fulfill, to a much greater capacity, one of our strategic goals for our church, encapsulated in the vision statement that we are called to be a spearhead which pierces the darkness of disunity in Slovenia. As such, we have been able to host a variety of nation-level events, where we have been able to serve the larger body of Christ in Slovenia!

    • We were able to host the following nation-level events:

Recharge, a training event for youth workers specifically focused on mental health;Z.V.E.Š. annual strategic meeting, focused on college aged students in Slovenia; Ellel, an inner healing and deliverance ministry; Langham Preaching, a ministry to equip preachers for faithful, expository teaching of God’s word; Evangelical Partnership, of which Aleš is a primary board member, for a bi-annual leadership meeting to continue connecting churches, providing support, and thus growing the Kingdom of God, on a national level; Preroška Šola, a prophetic school graduation event (or how to hear God’s voice); and many more.

    • We are praising God for a great Easter Service, which we did a bit differently this year. This year we had an extended time of sharing from four specific people, who shared testimonies of how the resurrection of Christ has impacted their personal lives, followed by a shorter message by Aleš, and our first lunch together as a church family since being in the new location, which turned out to be easy and a great success!
