Prayer

Daily Prayer Requests

  • Please pray for my husband. We retired and moved here to be near our oldest son and grandchildren.  My husband injured his back before we actually moved in and has been virtually an invalid for over a month.  He is not a Christian so there are big prayers needed!!

  • I have a few work deadlines I need to meet before I leave town so prayers appreciated to make sure I get everything accomplished.

  • I am struggling to see my mom on hospice and my dad needing a walker. Pray for me please.

  • We have a 10 hour drive ahead of us for a trip and my husband has really bad knees. Please pray for his comfort.  We are leaving our puppy who has tummy troubles with my best friend while we are gone for 6 days.  Pray for healing.

  • Please pray for our missionaries to Slovenia, Ales and Whitney Lajar who sent the following updates and prayer requests:

    • It’s unbelievable that we have already been in our new church location for over two months as we write these requests! The new building is so much better in every way, and truly meets the current needs of our church family in a way the old building could never. After service, to see nearly 70 people sitting around sipping coffee and fellowshipping late into the afternoon is something nearly miraculous!

    • It took a solid month to “move out” of the previous location, and we are still plowing away at fully “moving in” to the new location. It is taking time to minimize, organize, and situate every individual ministry with their accompanying needs, but we are coming close to really making it home.

    • One praise report is that Aleš was able to attend a three day conference last week, called Catalyst Community, where leaders of nine churches got together, and dreamed big, and believed God for the church growth He's about to do in Slovenia. This proved to be a great time of unity, connection, and encouragement.

    • Please pray for Aleš and a man named Todd, who are going to Greece next week for a Langham Preaching conference, to learn more about equipping and training preachers in Slovenia to do expositional teaching.

    • Also, please pray for Aleš, as he has one more month to go to finish his master's program, as he will be finishing it up mid - December!!
