Prayer

Daily Prayer Requests

  • Please keep the schools, staff, teachers, administration, students and families covered in prayer! There was another incident at North Jr High yesterday that has a lot of the kids on edge.  Pray for our Treasure Valley!

  • Pray for my son. He is diabetic.  His monitor goes off when his blood sugars drop and the alarms have been going off a lot lately.  It is very stressful and raises anxieties.

  • Please pray for a woman who found out that her husband has been having an affair. She is seeking counsel on how to confront him with this discovery and how to deal moving forward.  Pray for her heart, for her emotions and for her to receive the best counsel provided.

  • Could you pray for my friend who is getting ready for a trip out of the country? She doesn’t like to fly and this is a work trip.  Please pray for her safety and for her nerves.  Pray for a successful business trip as well.  Thank you!

  • Please pray for our missionaries to Germany, Clark and Ann Peddicord who sent the following updates and prayer requests:

    • We arrived back in the U.S. on October 24 - and 4 days later Clark came down with Covid, then Ann 4 days after that. Fortunately, we were able to be treated with “Paxlovid”, an anti-viral medication released for special use in the present situation. That helped a lot but we are still recovering.  Important meetings and appointments had to be cancelled. Please pray that we can coordinate things well and catch up as we regain our strength.

    • Clark is preparing to teach a joint Calvary Chapel/Biblical Study Center course beginning in January.  The “title” is not yet finalized but the content will dive into: How faith can flourish in the aggressive and skeptical post-Christian culture that is increasingly dominating society. We’ll be distilling the essence of what we’ve learned in years of working in Europe. The course is designed to be a guide and orientation for believers who do not want to build a fortress but want to live out their faith in the marketplace and daily life – in a world filled with skepticism about Christianity and clueless about Jesus.

    • Core Thought: Classic Faith in Jesus – in spite of everything – still makes the most sense and is the best ultimate explanation of our world and lives.
