Prayer

Daily Prayer Requests

  • Prayers For my family against spiritual attack.

  • Please pray for my husband’s coworker and his family. Their 12 year old daughter overdosed on Thursday night.  She is alive, praise Jesus!  They do not know the full extent of organ or brain damage at this point.  Please pray that they would be comforted in the peace of God and that this would be a wake up to their daughter to find Jesus in her life!  Thank you.

  • Prayers for a speedy recovery for my husband who had surgery yesterday and that he is cancer free. Prayers he gets to come home today and he trusts the Lord in the results and his new normal.

  • I am asking for prayer for connection with my husband. We feel very distant and it hurts my heart so much. Pray he would know how much I love him and that he would show the affection to me that I so long for!  God bless you all.

  • Please pray for our missionary to Vanuatu, Laura Thulesen who sends the following updates and prayer requests:

    • We have quite a few prayer requests as a result of the cyclone:

      * The arrival of our crates have already been delayed a month. Please pray for a miracle that they get on the ship leaving New Zealand for Vanuatu on Nov 8. We have time sensitive materials in the crates that we need immediately.

      * Please pray that the water source for our village and others in Ambrym would be found again and be functional after the cyclone. It was buried by mud slides.

      * Please pray for quick and cheap rebuild of our water tower and any needed repairs of our roof where our head tank fell on it.

      * Pray for a solution to the collapsed translation office (which we just put a new roof on). We also just paid for our chicken coop to be rebuilt and it is demolished. We thankfully only lost one chicken, however.

      * Please pray for quick and cheap rebuilds of our tool shed and our storage shed, and that the tools and items stored in them would be salvageable.

      * Please pray for quick and cheap repairs to our local friends' houses. Nearly all of them lost either a cooking house or sleeping house, and they all lost their outhouses and shower houses.

      * Please pray for food provision for our local friends, whose gardens were wiped out in the cyclone. They are subsistence farmers, so all their food sources have been destroyed.

      * Shipping and now cyclone delays have kept us from returning to Ambrym. Please pray for wisdom in when to return. We are coordinating sending supplies to rebuild and repair damages.
