Prayer

Daily Prayer Requests

  • My mother with later stage Alzheimers broke her femur (just standing up) surgery this morning.

  • Please pray to Father God to spread justice.

  • Pray for my son to get the help he needs to finish their home remodel. Pray that they would find a dwelling that will enable them to advance the Kingdom in service for the Lord.

  • I praise the Lord Jesus Christ that Galen made it through all of the testing and prodding today. There will be further testing and we believe these will just be precautionary.  Thank you for praying.

  • Please pray for my friend Kelly K and her family for a good diagnosis and treatment related to her esophagus and cancer.

  • Please pray for our missionaries to Germany, Clark and Ann Peddicord who sent the following updates and prayer requests:

    • This has been a really intensive time in Berlin for us.

We arrived on 12. July and plunged pretty much into the swirling rapids of “Haus Nazareth”.  Other than normal discipleship meetings with students and others, we’ve gathered together a group we call the “Future Team”. In addition to us and Dr. Kristin Shi-Kupfer (who is on the board of “Philosophia Europa", there are 7 older students and “alumni” (folk who were part of the Haus fellowship and have gone on to business or professional life - one is an anesthesiologist, another a physicist, etc.). We are discussing the future direction of the “Philosophia” ministry here as well as how to optimize and improve the organizational side of the Haus.

It is a great encouragement to have such strong, committed people who are “in the boat” and committed to the vision and future of the ministry.

    • We have some sad news from our young friend “S”: As we shared before, two of his wife’s brothers and her mother “kidnapped” her and their child and demanded that he return to their non-Christian religion. There may have been bribes and political influence involved, but the court has now terminated their marriage. (S’s word.) As we understand it, without either of them actually agreeing. “S” must return her dowry and pay child support until their son is 8 years old.

    • We live in such an unjust world. May the Lord come quickly!

“Truth is nowhere to be found and whoever shuns evil becomes prey. The LORD looked and was displeased that there was no justice.” Isaiah 59:15
