Prayer

Daily Prayer Requests

  • My mom suffers from a condition which causes her to vomit after almost every meal. It’s called gastroenteritis. The prescription is being held up by the mail system and vomiting that much is causing her to have suicidal tendencies. Pray that the nausea goes away, that her pills come through. For healing or whatever else God brings to mind. Her name is Donna.

  • Please pray for my aunt who had a severe seizure early Sunday morning. She lives in a small town in Arizona and they do not have the medical means to support her needs so they had to Life Flight her to a hospital in Las Vegas.  Please lift up our family during this as we seek His comfort and peace.  Pray for my aunt to receive the best care.

  • Continued prayers for Sheila who is battling AML. Thank you!

  • Please urgently pray for a mother of 4 who is suffering from health issues. She has trouble breathing and needs prayer for her mental, spiritual and physical health!

  • Lifting up a young lady who is dealing with aftermaths from a severe brain injury.  Prayers for her mom and dad as well.

  • Please pray for our missionary to Romania, Natalie Bridges who sent the following updates and prayer requests:

    • Please continue to pray for salvation for Adina's son (Sergiu), Razvan and Nicușor.

    • Bogdan got his exam results, he passed the Romanian exam, but will have to take the math and biology exams again next year.  The good news is that he is planning to persevere and take them again.

    • Please continue to pray for Tavi to do well in school this year and to quit smoking.

    • School starts on September 11th for us here in Romania.  We will start back up at the after-school program on the 4th to start preparing for school.  Our landlord is making some major repairs to our building (Praise the Lord!!), but it won’t be done until the end of September.  Praise the Lord, our landlord agreed to let us use another apartment in the building while the renovation is happening!  We also appreciate your prayers for an easy transition back to school for our kids.  And, since Bogdan graduated, we will be selecting another child to join the program.  Please pray for the Lord to bring us the child he wants us to have.

    • Please continue to pray for Ildiko’s basement issues with her neighbor.  There is still no change and she continues to use only half the space she originally had for her kitchen.  Every time I visit her, she is baking or cooking for someone and has everything crammed into half the space.  God continues to give her grace in the midst of the trial and we praise him for that!

    • Please continue to pray for my mom’s back.  She continues to recover and is able to move her leg better, but still has pain.  Please pray especially for her nerves to heal.

    • Please also pray for Sanda, the sister of one of the ladies in our church (Adina).  She has cancer and is having a difficult time with the chemotherapy.  The sisters’ mom passed away last year and now Sanda is fighting cancer, so it’s been a really hard time for them both.

    • Please pray for Corina…one of the orphanage workers.  She has some serious thyroid problems and although she is receiving treatment, she is quite ill.
