• Praise God! Jason Zweigle and his newly adopted, seven-year-old, son Foday will be coming home from Sierra Leone on Friday. The visa was granted last week as a result of your ongoing prayers. Please pray for safe travels. Pray that their transition is smooth and that Foday finds comfort in the Lord as he begins a new life far from everything he has ever known. Pray for bonding and unification of their new family. 

• Please pray for the Send Hope organization as they face big changes in the year ahead. Pray that the Lord will initiate and carry out every step of their organization, administration and performance. 

• Pray for Luke whose wife refuses to be faithful. He sees no alternative to divorce and it is breaking his heart. Pray that she will come to the end of herself and realize what she is doing. Pray too for their young daughter to understand that this behavior is not acceptable. Pray that she grows up to be a godly woman. Pray that Luke will persevere in his faith and lean on Jesus during this hard time. 

• Please pray for Jacob, a third-grader from our church family. He's having surgery tomorrow, January 5th to clear up blocked sinuses and to look into issues with his nasal passages. He's had to be on medication that affects him in school and we're praying that the surgery will clear that up.  

• Pray for our leaders in church and in government.
