Prayer

Daily Prayer Requests

  • Please pray that my glasses would be just right for my eyes. I’ve been trying for 4 months to get the right glasses, and haven’t been able to get ones I can see out of.

Please pray God would give the optometrist wisdom to help me to see properly and for the people who make them too.

  • Please pray for strength for my co-worker who is involved in an abusive relationship.

  • Praying for my friend who lost her brother to a terrible accident. This month is the anniversary of his death and it is really hard on her.

  • Please pray for the Lord to build up my daughter and her confidence not only in herself, but her relationship with Jesus. Once she has the power of Jesus in her I know everything else will be wonderful!

  • Please pray for our missionaries to Romania, Chris and Faith Anderson who sent the following updates and requests:

    • We gave our two month notice to the landlord for the building of the cafe. We will be closing the doors after the first week of June. June 1st is kids day and we have a special day every year for the kids on that day and we wanted to be able to do that before closing the doors. We will spend the rest of June getting everything out and filling in holes we made in the walls painting etc. We will lose our deposit since we are breaking contract, but most important to us is Chris keeping the relationship he has built with Andrei the landlord and his brother Alex. They came by last night both of them to talk with Chris and told him to always call if we need anything that they are friends. It is a little hard and sad for us right now, but at the same time Chris has complete peace about it. We will hold onto everything inside for a little bit and are praying about doing something similar as an association and actually having it as a youth center. We will look for a better location, and try to raise support, but as an association we don’t have to worry about the Romanian business laws, and we are allowed to have volunteers working instead of having to hire for salary. We had teens coming and making to go orders if they couldn’t come trying to help us stay open. This was encouraging for us but unfortunately was just not enough to cover the cost of everything. Thank you for all of your prayers through this and your support and encouragement to us. It seems God had it for just a time and we will follow Him.
