Prayer

Daily Prayer Requests

  • Thank you for praying for my friend. She is doing somewhat better after a few days of very intense antibiotics and surgical intervention to remove the infections. At this point she has bacterial infections in her blood and left hip as well as some vertebrae and discs. They are continuing to do some additional surgeries and will also be exploring what needs to be done to address the clavicle issue. For the most part she is in pretty good spirits at this point although she has been experiencing some frustration with coordination among the various doctors, evaluation's and surgeries etc. We would greatly appreciate continued prayer.

  • Pray for a woman with lots of stuff going on at her apartment that makes it unbearable for her to live there. As a result, she’s got a lot of muscle tension that creates pain. To the point where she has to leave. Pray for her to find another place to live that she can afford. Pray for God to give her mercy to be able to spend the day with her son.

  • Pray for my friend. Having surgery to reconstruct her intestines. It’s scary because she has to go off her blood thinners to be able to have the surgery, but she has a weak heart since covid. She doesn’t have any family. Pray that she would feel the Lord with her.

  • My friend's granddaughter who had the massive stroke went home to the Lord on the 13th of October. Pray for her 2 kids, husband and all her friends and relatives. God bless you all.

  • There is a large polyp in my colon. Please ask in Jesus' name (john 14:13) that it is NOT cancer. Please.

  • Please pray for our missionary to Romania, Natalie Bridges who sent the following updates and prayer requests:

    • Our younger kids at the after-school program continue to do well in school.  They are getting good grades and Raluca was just voted by her classmates to be the class leader.  Please pray for her as this is a challenging responsibility and she needs wisdom.

    • Tavi and Bogdan continue to need much prayer.  Please pray especially that they will wholeheartedly commit their lives to Christ.

    • Please continue to pray for Ildiko’s basement issues.

    • Oleg, the teenage Ukrainian is looking for a job.  He recently turned 18 and because his family fled Ukraine, he didn’t get to finish high school and doesn’t speak Romanian.  Although it will be challenging, he and his mother and siblings will stay in Bistrita for now.

    • Please pray for our upcoming Ladies Tea on Saturday (October 22).  We have been inviting lots of ladies to join us.  Please pray for the preparations to be Spirit-led and that many ladies will come and respond to the message, be blessed, make friends, and enjoy themselves.

    • We also need prayer for our church location.  The landlord continues to raise the price and earlier this week we were informed that the owner wants to raise it to 3 times more than our current rent.  Pastor Brian met with him today and he agreed to cut the price, but the latest rate is still an increase of $120/month.  Please pray that the Lord will give wisdom, direction and a miracle regarding this challenge.

    • Thank you for praying for us!  We appreciate you so much!
