Please pray for my sister who was laid off from her job. If her boss can get her layoff date pushed back to October she will get a severance package. Please pray that would be successful and that my sister would be able to walk through this in faith.

Please pray for my friend whose son was diagnosed with Leukemia in the last 2 years. She just let me know they think he only has 2 weeks.  Pray for him to peacefully pass and for comfort for his family.

Pray for my sweet friend who is packing up to move out of her house. It is not her ideal plan.  Pray for strength both physically and emotionally.

I lost my absolute best friend suddenly and unexpectedly on Thursday afternoon. I'm absolutely lost without her.  I don't know what to pray for because ultimately I just need her back. I'm just devastated

Please pray for our missionaries to Slovenia, Ales and Whitney Lajar who sent the following updates and prayer requests:

• First, please pray for our five kids as they go back to school. This year we have a 2nd and 3rd grader in the Public Elementary school. A 5th and a 9th grader in a Private Elementary school. And Lanea our olders is starting a specialised High School for designing clothes. She is the most nervous as she gets 17 new classmates and a whole new system she will have to adapt to. 

• At the same time Aleš begins his 6th semester at Western Seminary on Sept. 3rd, continuing his Masters studies with a focus on learning Greek in the next school year. He is excited and also a bit nervous since he hasn't had to learn a new language in quite a while (since English has become completely natural). 

• We would also appreciate your prayer for Aleš’s tuition, which is $ 2400 this semester as he is taking three classes, therefore has increased for a bit. So far we have been able to pay all his tuitions on time every semester, thanks to your guys’ generosity to us. Thank you!
