Prayer

Daily Prayer Requests

  • We need prayer. My husband was hospitalized this week and is very sick.I have been sick as well he has been unable to work and we are struggling financially to get his insulin and breathing inhalers.

  • Our 10 daughter is being severely bullied by multiple neighbor children and an adult. We have chosen to do a job transfer, sell our home and move. Please pray Gods voice leads us and blesses or family with a fresh start and peace for our children.

  • Please heal our newborn in the NICU so she can breath, have skin to skin, breastfeed, be well, and come home.

  • Father, please give my husband some days without pain.

  • Prayer for the salvation of my family; Dad (Steven), Mom (Susan), Brother (Jeremy), & Sis in Law (Ivy). Please pray for the softening of their hearts.

  • Please pray for our missionaries to Germany, Clark and Ann Peddicord who sent the following updates and prayer requests:

    • The Gospel of John Project
      The end is in sight!
As you know, our time in the U.S. has been occupied to a large extent with preparing and teaching the course on the “Gospel of John”. It was originally scheduled to end on May 2nd, but we decided to extend the Monday night John teaching until June 13th (next week!) so that each chapter can have a separate teaching episode.

I have been able to put together material on Jewish cultural and political tensions of Bible times and combine this with discussing the message of the Gospel of John and how it applies to modern life.  The technical and editing help that Mat Halverson gives us and the support from the church here in Boise have made the whole project possible. We will have a tool for the further work with the "Transatlantic Bridge" students and others. (Students in Europe are already using the online material.) This is a resource that we can now use and refine and illustrate for future training of lay people and pastors.
