Prayer

Daily Prayer Requests

  • Pray for a harvest of souls this Resurrection Day and weekend to accept the Lord and receive eternal life

  • PRAISE REPORT - UPDATE: my wife Donna was finally offered a nice job after 4 months of being unemployed. But please pray for financial provision as we wait the 45 day certification period Praise Him.

  • I have a dear friend who lost both her husband of over 40 years and her oldest son to Covid during August 2021.  The emotional and mental health impact has been great upon my friend and especially her 2 granddaughters who were quarantined with their ailing father until he was hospitalized and passed.  My friend's second son now has Covid, as well does her sister who has been her rock and constant companion.  They are not believers and the enemy has used all this to confuse their understanding of who God is; they are very angry.   Please pray for health and recovery, as well as comfort for the family and that they experience God's true loving nature.

  • My uncle is undergoing radiation and chemotherapy for advanced lung cancer.  The doctors are not able to treat him as they would like as he's had heart surgery that prevents them from removing the affected lung.  Please pray for his health and recovery and most importantly that he and his wife be brought to salvation, as they acknowledge Jesus only as a great man who did great things. May they truly experience His presence and goodness.

  • Please pray for our missionaries to Germany, Clark and Ann Peddicord who sent the following updates and prayer requests:

    • Ukranians:

Thank you for praying for the Ukrainian survivors who found refuge in Berlin with our Haus Nazareth students who graciously shared their rooms and their beds and their kitchen to live in and use the last few weeks.

All three families have found safe homes and so did the six single girls.  Would you now please pray for the students to do well as they research papers and study for exams?  Let’s also keep praying for Russia’s war to STOP!

    • Boise Note:

After much prayer and consideration, the decision has been made to extend the Monday night John teaching until June 13th so that each chapter can have a separate teaching.  People attending the class seem quite happy about the extension.

Clark has enjoyed consolidating his material on Jewish cultural and political tensions of Bible times and discussing how this Scripture applies to modern life.  The technical help that Mat Halverson gives us and the constructive view of missions that Kirk Crager contributes and the great use of Calvary’s facilities have created positive team work. I think we will have a very useful tool for the further work the Transatlantic Bridge students and others..

    • Theological Library:

THANK YOU also for praying for the crate of books to ship safely!!  They arrived yesterday! Now would you please pray for smooth distribution for the BSC (Biblical Study Center Library) near BSU?
