Prayer

Daily Prayer Requests

  • I would like to ask for prayer for a friend and her husband. He has had some health issues over the holidays and they are faced with a new year deductible on their insurance as they continue with meeting his health needs. Prayer for provisions to enable them to access the best care.

  • My son just turned 1 and won’t sleep through the night. I work a long day at St. Luke’s and at night he would rather stay up. I am very exhausted. Please pray he sleeps and that I get some good rest as well.

  • Prayers would be appreciated for the friend of a couple’s son who is struggling with depression and addiction

  • A couple that serves together left the country to help take care of a mother in law who is recovering from covid. Please pray for peace and strength as they are also away from other family that is sick here state-side

  • Please pray for a mother who had a stroke about a month ago and is in the recovery process

  • Lots of expecting families within the ministry! Praise God for the miracle of life and His grace for the soon growing families

  • Prayers that the Nursery would find help for the week day shifts

  • Please pray for our missionaries to Italy, Brent and Hope Harrell who sent the following updates and prayer requests:

    • We are grateful to be recovering from our 2nd round with Covid. Sadly, Brent missed out on traveling to the States to speak at the mission's conference to stay and take care of us sickies. This time only Brayden and Hope tested positive and thankfully are about done with the 10-day mandatory quarantine. The good part is that since we have recovered from it we will be issued a 6 month 'super green pass' which will allow us to have freedoms to move about in society. The government is making it harder and harder for anyone who does not wish to take the vaccine. Several members of our church who do not wish to be vaccinated will be out of work on Jan 10. The government is deciding if it will be mandatory for anyone over 50. The rules change every day it seems.

    • Please pray for Italy and for wisdom for those governing and implementing the rules. Pray for wisdom, grace, provision for those within our fellowship being affected by the mandates.

    • A fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon our church, that there would be continued spiritual awakening and growth, a fresh hunger to know Christ and make Him known. That the teaching of the word would go out in power, that it would be anointed by the Spirit, and that it would change hearts within our church and those who listen via YOUTUBE.

    • Pray for our youth group to be growing in passion for living for Christ. Pray against the strongholds that the enemy has over some of the girls who are struggling with eating disorders and emotional issues, pray for their deliverance from those things. Pray for Micky to be refreshed and full of wisdom and vision as he leads the youth. Pray that the kids would be looking for ways to step out and serve and live for Christ.

    • Pray for the women's bible study on faith that will be starting up this month.

    • Pray for Isabella and Hope as they try round 2 of taking their driver's test. Missed it by 1 question last time! Our test will be on the 13th. We can only miss 3 questions out of 30.
