DAILY PRAYER REQUESTS

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. - Romans 8:1

Praise God that we are made righteous by faith in the perfect atoning work of Christ. When we are His, the Holy Spirit is in us and by the Spirit, we are humbled and convicted of sin and are led to repentance by a loving and caring Father. If we don't feel convicted by overt sin then we have either seared our consciences and closed off the voice of the Spirit or we are simply not His. Covert sin is revealed in God's timing as He patiently works out our sanctification. Today, let us pray that the Spirit touches the hearts of our Church family members by the Truth of His Word and opens our eyes to the beauty and righteousness of Christ.

PRAYER REQUESTS

  • Please keep praying for the Grant family and decisions they need to make about selling their home and moving into a school district that better meets the needs of their youngest son Matthew who is severely disabled. Also, Luke, their 15-year-old autistic son has been experiencing unexplained weight loss. Please ask that the doctors will have wisdom in diagnosing and treating him.

  • Please pray for Send Hope Administrator Sarah Van Brunt and the trip she will be taking in January to India with the 52.4 leadership team. Pray for the money to be raised for the trip, wisdom for the teaching and activities she will be doing with kids, for strength and humble hearts when serving the lepers in their village, and for clear communication and guidance for the time she’ll be working and meeting with the India administrative. team. Please also pray for the team’s time together before they go and that they actually learn the words to a few songs in Tamil.

  • Continue to pray for those affected by the church shooting in Texas. Ask that God’s mercy and love will be revealed in the aftermath and that God will comfort all those affected by the tragedy.

  • Pray for Jammin’ for Lamb Boise/Nampa rescue missions to be effective in sharing the Gospel.  Pray that they have all the resources they need this winter.

  • Pray for Dietrich who needs strength and direction in his life.  This time of year is very difficult for him. Pray that the Lord will give him comfort and joy.

  • Please continue to pray for James’s salvation and for him to grow closer to God.  He was raised in church, but throughout the years has walked away from God and may not even believe anymore.  Please, please, please pray that he would figure out the circumstances between him and me.
