We received the following update to the urgent prayer request for someone’s mother that was sent out on Sunday: “No major changes today. We did get confirmation that she had a severe stroke. They are going to start her on a nasal feeding tube right now since she can't swallow. Tomorrow they will likely put in a feeding tube that goes into her stomach directly. She is receiving daily physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. The doctor isn't optimistic that she will recover much more. He thinks she will require 24-hour care for the rest of her life. Though obviously he can't predict exactly what will happen They are going to do an updated CT scan early this week to see how the swelling in her brain is.”

Two families in Nampa are grieving as two teenagers died in a car accident this past week. Please pray for the peace that only comes from God as they navigate this difficult time.

We received the following anonymous prayer request: “Please pray for me. I’ve been on the edge daily and feel completely stuck. I’m broke and can’t get myself back together. I pray all day long. I’m not doing a good job for my kids. I freeze up and forget what I’m doing and am afraid of everything I shouldn’t be. I don’t want to be around anymore when I see my problems hitting my kids. They’re starting to be afraid of things like I am. I want to be able to take care of things again. Or make decisions. I want to want to live again. I just really need a breakthrough. This is too much. Thank you”

Please pray for a woman who has to have cancer removed from her nose today and the reconstruction of her nose after the cancer is removed.

Please pray for my friend and his family. A few years ago, he was hit while he helping a woman push her car, and lost the use of his legs. He has kept his job and has a really good attitude. This past week he caught an infection in his blood and it is very serious, they might take his legs. He has teenage daughters and a wife that needs him in their lives. Please pray for God’s healing and mercy.
