Please pray for my two close friends dealing with anxiety and addiction.

My sister has several doctor’s appointments this week regarding her breast cancer, so please pray for those. Monday she had pre-op with her general physician. Tuesday she meets with her oncologist. Wednesday she has a Herceptin treatment (basically the “wonder drug” fighting her type of aggressive hormonal cancer). Friday she meets with the surgeon to determine if surgery is possible at this stage and if so, surgery would be tentative for Aug 31.

Please pray for a married couple who are feeling very desperate. They’ve both struggled with addiction and are feeling isolated and hopeless. Pray especially that he will feel the acceptance and confidence that only comes from a relationship with Jesus. Pray for the wife to remain strong in sobriety and for her Christian mentor to have great godly wisdom in pointing her to the Lord.

Please, pray that my brother and his family trust Jesus as their Savior and Lord. They don't believe God exists. Pray that they see Jesus is trustworthy and for me to have wisdom.

Our family requests prayer for health of our brother in law, Michael. He is sedated and on a respirator in Texas. He has severe pneumonia. Doctors have no answers, he tested negative for Covid. We ask for prayer for my sister and the kids as they wait but cannot see him. That the Lord would comfort them and bring much healing in this family.
