Prayer

Daily Prayer Request

  • Please pray for Colton, a 9 year old who just has diagnosed with bone cancer.

  • Please pray for a brother in Christ named John who is due to have triple bypass surgery soon. Pray also for his wife Nancy and their family.  Thank you so much.

  • I am praying for a house to buy close to downtown Boise for under $350K.

  • Please pray that Gary would be a father to his son Caleb and provide all of his needs mental, physical, emotional, spiritual and financial in Texas!!!

  • Please Pray M and B would have their physical home in Reno/Sparks restored according Isaiah 61:7 in Reno/Sparks.

  • Please pray for our missionaries to Slovenia, Ales and Whitney Lajar who sent the following updates and prayer requests:
    • We have had an absolutely exhausting year in every way, (church / ministry, children, side- jobs, etc.) and we need prayer for our marriage. We began marriage counseling a month ago, and are making a very intentional effort to invest in our relationship, which has suffered the most as a result of being spread so thin. We ask that God would show up powerfully in our current states, and that we would be allowed by His grace to fully enter into a new season of more calm (work and kid - wise), as well as build in the necessary margins, in every area, so we are not grinding above zero.

    • We just finished a four week educational course on parenting called Connected Families. We ask for prayer for wisdom and grace on how to apply these principles regularly and consistently in our parenting, in order to alleviate some major life stressors, as well as how to successfully prepare to launch this course as a ministry in our church family come fall.

    • Aleš started meeting with a life coach a month ago, and wants to continue these meetings if time and finances will allow it. Please pray for God’s superseding grace to move personal obstacles, enter into a new season, and find the joy and rest in God that Aleš desperately needs.

    • Please pray for all of our kids' school situations. Some are doing great, others are not. We have finally made the decision to move Huntley from the private school he is attending to a school that provides personal educational plans based on the individual child’s strengths and weaknesses. We find that the language comprehension issues have become insurmountable, as they are present in both English and Slovene. Please pray for Huntley as he transitions to a new school. Adonijah has been approved to get extra help at school, which is a major praise report, and we ask for prayer that he will continue to stay on track and progress in the ways he needs to. We also ask for prayer for Daniel as he has begun falling behind and is having struggles living in the dorms an hour away.
