Can we reinstall the full drum shield? In previous Q&A sound tech said he struggles to balance instruments with drums and that is why worship is so loud.
Thank you for posting this clarifying question. While it is true that sound levels have to change when drums are in use, this is something that is done intentionally. Our worship leadership has made the musical style decision to use drums as a part of our band for Sunday services, and with that comes increased volume, so that the instruments can all be heard in the mix.
While we previously used a different drum shield, the custom-built shield we now use was intentionally installed with our specific drum kit and room in mind. I’m sorry for any misunderstanding with the wording of our previous answer.
