Does the church have any classes or teachings or resources on biblical parenting? Different churches/pastors have different Bible interpretations it seems.
We believe the foundation of biblical parenting is a firm foundation on Christ, knowledge of His Word, and Spirit-led applications as ambassadors of Christ for our children. Within Christianity there is a broad range of parenting and child-raising techniques or ways of doing things. We realize that families have different dynamics and do things in different ways, and we strive to have grace in all things as we walk through this together.
Over the years Calvary Boise has offered several parenting classes, and we have a new class coming up for new and expecting parents this fall. It begins October 2, and you can find details and sign up at calvaryboise.com/parents.
Below are a few resources that our Family Ministry team recommends to help along the way.
