For a marriage to be successful, you need that third cord in your marriage to be Jesus. Marriages that follow a Biblical blueprint are a beautiful yet rare comodity today. Everyone has heard the statistics on marriage and divorce. It is so common in our culture that it is no exaggeration to say that we or someone we know has been deeply affected by divorce in one way or another. We know the Bible says that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16), but we rarely think about why. God knows the devastation it brings upon the family, both the couple and the children alike. It reaps years of issues that everyone involved will have to work through in order to return to normalcy in the realm of emotional stability and relational trust.
Whether you have never been married or are remarrying, we at Calvary Boise, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, want to help equip you both with God-given tools to be successful. We want you to have a long, satisfying, Christ-centered marriage that is a fulfillment to both you and your future children. This is best achieved by building a foundation on God’s principles for your marriage.
