Prayer

May 8, 2017

“Let my prayer be set before You as incense.” Psalm 141:2.

PRAYER REQUESTS:

Please continue to pray for Cindi who had a successful knee replacement last week. Ask the Lord to bless her rehabilitation. Her husband has decided its time to downsize, so in addition to healing she is preparing to sell her home and find a new, smaller place. Ask that the Lord will bless their efforts and lead them.

Please pray for Calida, a single mom in need of affordable housing. She has to be out in three weeks and has no place to go. She keeps getting denied because of bad credit. Please pray for her and her daughter to be settled soon.

Alex was diagnosed with lung cancer that has metastasized to his brain. More damaging than his physical condition is his negative and defeatist attitude. He says he believes in the Lord, but he is not trusting Him for strength, guidance and healing. The enemy of his soul has him convinced that there is no hope. Please pray that this illness will move Alex to call out to God, to focus on and draw near to Him. Please pray for strength and courage for his wife, Sabrina.

Please pray for Freda’s marriage. Her husband has already filed for divorce. They are separated and not in communication. Pray that God will touch her husband’s heart and bring restoration.

Pray for Cheri, she needs a job soon (or she needs to sell her home and move to she don't know where.) She does not know where she is going. She is suffering on-going family abuse and issues, and has no family support. Pray she get into a church group that will take her in like family.

Please pray for Britney a young woman from a Christian family who is wandering away from the faith. Pray that she will return to Jesus and that His influence will affect the way she lives. In the meantime, pray that she will be willing to abide by the rules of the home where she is renting a room and that she will actively seek God and His perfect will.
