Prayer

Daily Prayer Requests

  • Please pray for God’s assistance to help me prepare for a personal review of my health issues in a face-to-face assessment on Tuesday, May 21 (rescheduled from May 7). Please pray for favor and that God will work with those who evaluate me, helping them to understand me and my struggles well enough to come to a decision that God would want for me.

  • My wife and I have come to a major transition in our lives. We have been on one particular course for the last 12 years but that season has come to a close. We are now praying and waiting on the Lord to open up a door for us somewhere but as yet He has not shown us the next step—in fact, for the last 4 months EVERY door in the direction we thought we were going has slammed shut! While we are not unaccustomed to waiting on Him, at the moment we are stuck in a very difficult living situation that is creating constant stress. We both have certain chronic health issues that are exacerbated by this as well, so it's not only mentally and emotionally taxing, but physically as well. Our finances are very limited so changing our situation is currently dependent upon the Lord's provision. Please pray for a breakthrough and for grace to hold fast until the Lord sees fit to bring it!

  • Please pray for me. I am struggling with anxiety, depression, and self-identity. I was widowed 25 years ago and still struggle.

  • Please pray for my son who needs help breaking the chain of pornography.

  • Pray for Audrie’s dad who doesn’t believe in God. It makes her really sad because she wants to see him in heaven, but she doesn’t know if that will ever happen. She also asks prayer that she will be able to get baptized with her friends, to make it really special.

  • Please pray for Elizabeth for God’s direction in her life: job, finances, and with her children.

  • Please pray for the families of David Bates and Anita Harmon. The trial for their murder - which was set to start this September - just got pushed back to July of 2020. It's been nearly two and a half years already, and while I understand we have to jump through the legal hoops so he doesn't get let go on a technicality, it's still incredibly frustrating to feel like no progress is being made. Please pray we (the Bates family) can trust God to bring about justice and be humble examples of true Christ followers during this time of waiting. And pray for the Harmon family for salvation, as I don't know if they're believers or not, as well as peace and patience.

  • Please pray for me. I work in government, in a space with a lot of different personalities. Please pray that I can just concentrate on my work and not engage in toxic stuff that goes on. I would like another job, but I’m 64 and single and only plan to work until I’m 67.

  • Kelly has anxiety and issues trusting doctors. Her son Joshua has a bacterial infection on his tonsils that is not going away with antibiotics. She doesn't want him to be on so many medicines. Pray for him to be well.
