Prayer

DAILY PRAYER REQUESTS

  • Please pray for Shelby and her family. Her 42-year-old husband Greg recently died of cancer. They have young children and are not connected to a church.

  • Pray for Ryan and Tony.

  • Pray for Susie Spoolstra and her family. A drunk driver killed her 24-year-old son Zach last Sunday. His memorial is tomorrow. A GoFund Me account has been set up to help with expenses related to this painful situation. Here is the link for those who care to support the family financially or offer words of encouragement https://www.gofundme.com/the-zachary-scott-spoolstra-fund.

The following are anonymous requests:

  • Pray for our family as we await the birth of my granddaughter.

  • Please pray for our graduates to connect to the Holy Spirit and develop their spiritual senses and find truth and salvation in Jesus.

  • Please pray that my husband Corky finds a job soon. He was laid off after almost 20 years with his employer and health insurance is way more than we can afford. Please pray that God will bless us with income.

  • Please pray for the Men’s Breakfast this Saturday. Ask the Lord to anoint Pastor Trevor’s teaching and that every man God is calling to attend will be obedient to come, learn and apply the teaching about the power men have in Christ.

  • Commission Week wraps up with morning prayer at 6:30 in the Prayer Room. Pray that the event bears much long-range fruit and continues to unify churches throughout the valley. Ask God to expand our vision for reaching the lost here and abroad and to provide all the resources necessary for us to go where He guides.

NEW, MAY 9 UPDATE ON DERRICKDerick got the results of his latest cancer scans and the tumor has not grown.  His mom Cherie asks that we praise the Lord with her.  As most of you know Derick has a very aggressive form of brain cancer and is not expected to live very long. Recently a device was affixed to his head to attack the cancerous cells. Cherie is overjoyed with the results and asks that we continue to pray. She said, “I am praying that with the next scan the doctors will say, ‘what cancer?’” Continue to ask for a total healing. Derick is only 41 years old and has an 18 year old son who desperately needs him. Pray for the entire family to grow closer to the Lord. Also ask that Derick’s ex-wife will accept Christ’s free gift of salvation very soon. She is struggling with depression.
