Prayer

DAILY PRAYER REQUESTS

  • Sarah has a little over a month remaining in Ethiopia where she is ministering to refugees. Pray for endurance and perseverance and also ask the Lord to prepare her heart to assimilate back into this culture.

  • Please continue to ask God to bring His healing to Caleb who has endured physical suffering since his dad, Greg, went to Heaven last year.

  • Please continue to pray for our missionaries in Vancouver Becca and Marlon Brown. Becca had surgery to implant a device that is anticipated to give her relief from chronic pain, eventually. Right now she is in excruciating pain and it is expected it will continue for two weeks. Please pray that she recovers quickly and completely.

  • Please pray for Hallie’s sister Shiloh and her husband Seth who are in the process of adopting a newborn. Things were going smoothly until yesterday. Now the baby’s grandmother is trying to convince the mom to keep the infant. Please pray for the health and well-being of the birth mom and child.  Also please pray for God’s perfect will for Shiloh and Seth as they get bounced around in this adoption process and wait for an answer.

  • Please keep praying for Derick and his family. Pray especially for Cheri, Derick’s mom. She has severe allergies and it is very difficult for her to be in Boise in springtime. Also she’s had problems eyeglasses that were created incorrectly more than four months ago. Pray that the glasses are either re-made correctly or she is given a full refund of the money she paid for them.

The following are anonymous requests:

  • Please pray for my grandma’s brother who is suffering with terminal cancer.

  •  Commissioned Week kicks off this Friday May 4 with the Citizens and Saints Concert. Pray that the event will unite Christians from throughout the valley to bring revival and a renewed commitment to reach the lost.

  • Please pray for my father Larry.  He suffers from dementia and recently had a blood clot in his leg.  Pray that his poor health and advanced age draw him to salvation in Jesus.
