Prayer

DAILY PRAYER REQUESTS

  • Pray for a young couple who have separated and are contemplating ending their marriage. Pray that they look to Jesus to restore their relationship. Ask that they will be wise to make Christ the center of their focus and that they will begin living for His will instead of their individual desires. Pray that their faith in God will enable them to cast off the fear that drives them apart.

  •  Pray for Annette, a widow who had a stroke last weekend. She is fighting cancer and is already quite weak. Doctors did not expect her to regain consciousness but she has achieved that goal. She has many medical issues. Pray that she will know Christ as her friend and savior before she sees Him face-to-face.

  • Keep praying for the Grants who are struggling with so many concerns right now. Praise God for their incredible attitudes of faith and trust. Specifically pray that the Lord miraculously meets their financial needs, finds a new nurse for Matthew, helps with Luke’s health issues and provides a way for Jason to get his much-needed root canal.

The following are anonymous requests:

  • I need prayer.  I struggle with depression so bad I have no idea what to do anymore.  I don’t know why I feel this way.  I feel so lost inside; my world seems to darken at times.  It’s hurting my marriage so much.  I pray about it all the time.  The Lord feels so far from me.

  • Pray for a woman going to court soon for drug offenses. She may be facing incarceration but is praying for a different option. She doesn’t want to lose custody of her kids. Pray that she will understand God’s love, faithfulness and provision is meant for her and that He will never leave her no matter where she is or what she faces.

  • Please pray for the National Day of Prayer Rally. Pray that thousands will turn out on the State Capitol steps Thursday, May 3, at noon. Pray for Pastor Tucker as he prepares brief remarks. Ask God to stir the hearts of people from throughout the valley to unite in prayer. Pray that at least 50 people from every Bible-believing church will attend.

Please continue to pray for:

  • Derick to cope with the challenges of fighting brain cancer in God’s strength and peace.

  • Derick’s son and mom to be in good health and to be comforted by Christ’s presence.

  • Corey and Elsa who are still battling many health issues and are becoming discouraged. Pray that the love of God will sustain them.

  • Ben, the autistic young adult who is suffering from stomach issues that are exacerbating his behavioral issues. His health is improving but it is still tough for his mom. Pray that God blesses her with an abundance of strength and peace.
