Prayer

Daily Prayer Requests

  • I am in need of prayer for me to find a new place to live where the environment is clean and the rent is cheaper. I live with roommates who abuse drugs.  I need to be free of that in my life as I am sober.

  • Praying for a woman with dementia to receive the care she needs during a transition from her home into a Memory Care Facility. Thank you.

  • Please pray for my sister’s marriage. She has been married for about a year and a half and they have experienced issues with their blended family situation.  Pray for patience and endurance and that God’s love will conquer all.

  • Dear family, please pray for Apostle Oleg of from USSR. Pray that souls will be saved and reconciled, Gospel will be preached, his health would be strong and indefatigable. Pray he has the stamina to carry out Gods mission. Pray for God’s provision and blessing for Oleg his family and our church protection for Oleg from every direction. Pray for supreme wisdom in all areas. Pray God’s direction and guidance for Oleg his family and ministry. May his loving wife be forever faithful to Apostle Oleg.

  • Please pray for the following updates and requests received for the Underground Church:
    • Pakistan: Some Afghans who fled to Pakistan when the Taliban took over are now starting a similar program to care for children in Pakistan. Please pray for God's guidance and protection for them. The school that they have started for these children is working well and is growing. Please pray for courage as they continue to serve the children. There are significant financial needs for this school, so we appreciate your prayers for God's provision.

    • Turkey: Please pray for the Christians who have had to flee their country and are refugees in Turkey. Please pray for all the refugee families for whom financial struggles are increasing. Covering costs like rent and utilities is difficult, and even more so with all the restrictions on refugees for employment. Please pray for God to provide unlocked cell phones and laptop computers to support the house church leaders. These items can also be used to help families who are refugees find employment, and stay connected. Please continue to pray over the process we are pursuing with Welcome Corps, and the relationship between Turkey and the U.S.. Thus far, Turkey has not been open to allowing refugees to be sponsored through the Welcome Corps program. There is some small movement here, so please continue to pray that doors would open, and that we might still be able to welcome our friends to Boise.

    • New Missionaries from Calvary Boise!

We are praising God that He has opened up a ministry opportunity for Calvary Boise to send some new missionaries to Turkey. This couple (going by M&H for all digital communications for safety reasons), traveled to a couple different countries to meet with those who are a part of the underground church.  God blessed their time with the believers and they are looking forward to the next time they can be there already. Please pray for relationships to continue to be built and that God would lead them in how to proceed with ministry. Specifically pray for wisdom as they seek ways to support families with a focus on marriages, parenting, and reaching the youth. Please also be praying for funding and clarity on planning for a conference that they hope to attend and be a part of in March for house church leaders. This conference is quickly approaching and there are significant logistics and financial needs.
