Please pray for a single mom who is struggling to keep her home for her and her 2 kids. She just started a new job, but has already experienced a couple of setbacks.  Pray she doesn’t lose hope and that there would be a constant source of encouragement in her life.

Prayers for my father in law who will begin simultaneous radiation and chemo treatments this coming week.

I am having a hard time being motivated to get my health on track. I have heart disease in my family and I know that there are things I need to change in my own lifestyle so that history doesn’t repeat itself with me.  Pray for strength to want to make these changes and to be diligent in making them happen.

I would like to ask for prayer for a friend who is pregnant with her second daughter. She had a very challenging 1st pregnancy and so she is stressed about this one.  Pray for her anxieties and worry to be extinguished because she can rely on the Lord as Philippians 4:6-8 tells us.  Thank you.

• To all those praying with us for the Underground Church, thank you for praying! God has done great things in this year, and we look forward to seeing what this new year will hold. All praise and glory to Him!

• Iran:Please continue to pray for the Christians who are in prison and those who face persecution for their faith that they would be encouraged, have peace, and have strength to endure. The underground Church in Iran continues to grow. Please pray that God would raise up leaders. Those who are currently leading carry so much pressure. Pray that God would give them strength. Please pray for the children of martyrs and persecuted Christians that we are supporting. Pray that these children would grow in their faith and not waiver as their parents have suffered for Christ. Please be praying that God would provide opportunities for more Bibles to reach Iran and Afghanistan. This is definitely a need as the church grows. Please pray for protection for the believers, and peace that only God can provide as tensions between Israel and Iran have escalated in recent weeks. Sanctions on Iran have affected the Christians too and many are living in poverty. Please pray for their continued provision. Please continue to pray for the believers in Iran as the Christmas season often leads to an increase in arrests and imprisonments. Please pray for this New Year to bring change to the hearts of the people of Iran and its leaders. 

• Afghanistan:Please pray for the underground church leaders in Afghanistan. They are taking the Gospel to new regions. Pray for courage, perseverance, and protection. Please continue to pray for the sewing and knitting businesses that we are supporting in Afghanistan. These businesses provide a way for widows to make a living and to have a ministry. Please pray that God would protect these women and guide them as they continue in this work.
