Pray for my friends. They are each going through some personal trials.  Pray for peace, joy, love and faithfulness to overcome them as they walk through these times.

Prayers for my friend and her dad. He has not gotten out of bed but one time in days and hasn’t eaten since Wednesday.  Pray he will be comfortable as we are pretty sure he is nearing the end of his life.

My father in law will be having surgery on the 25th at Oregon University Hospital in Portland next week. Pray for their travels and for the surgeons to remove all of the cancer in his body.

I would ask for prayers for my husband please. He is short tempered and does not think before he speaks.  I am close to the edge. Pray that I would be able to speak some truth and peace into his heart and that God would soften him to receive it.

Please pray for our missionaries to Tepic, Mexico, Saul and Angelica Alvarez who sent the following updates and prayer requests:

• The kids at church are practicing the Christmas carols for our Christmas dinner next month pray for them.

• Also keep praying to the Lord to supply our needs because all the laboratory tests that the doctor ordered for my wife were expensive. We are trying to get the medical that the government offers for free, but it's a bit complicated.  And if you get the service, you have to wait two or three months for an appointment to see a specialist for your health problem. That is why I have to take my wife to a private doctor.

• Mireya has to fly to California as an emergency because her sisters is very sick. Please pray for Mireya and her sister to get well from the illness.
