Prayer

Daily Prayer Requests

  • My friend is 38 weeks pregnant with her first miracle baby and the baby hasn’t flipped into the birthing position yet. They have tried “all the things” so please pray that baby flips and will be ready to be born in the next couple of weeks!!  Pray for an easy labor and delivery and a healthy baby.

  • Please pray for my neighbor. He recently had some trouble with the law and is dealing with repercussion from that.

  • Asking for prayer for the week ahead. I have a lot on my calendar between work and travel and family and would love to feel some balance and peace with my schedule.  Thanks!

  • Pray for my health and the steps that I need to take to recover it. I need changes to my diet and my activity level.  I do struggle with that so I pray for the strength and the attitude to do so.

  • Please pray for our missionaries to Romania, Chris and Faith Anderson who sent the following updates and requests:

    • Thank you for praying for us during the time our team was here. We had a great week of activities. The men’s pizza night talking about a Man After God's Own Heart, and the two women's teas on Religion vs. Relationship. The Gospel was presented so clearly. We had 10 ladies come to the women's tea in Doi Mai. None of which were from the English club parents, 4 ladies from our church in Mangalia, and 6 ladies who lived in Doi Mai. One lady has just recently started visiting the church in Mangalia, and the other 5 were just ladies off the street. It was so good. They did not want to stay afterwards but we enjoyed a lovely breakfast together, and they listened so intently to the Gospel and how the relationship with God differed from religion and works. In Mangalia, our first women's fall tea only brought in 12-15 ladies, but God had exactly who needed to be there. It was a wonderful time of fellowship for the ladies, and we had a couple visitors not from the church. We also had a marriage night on 10 Biblical principles of Marriage. I believe we only got to 5 of them, as there was lots of discussion and fun during this time.

    • The week after our team left we had just an extreme heaviness over our family. Please pray against spiritual warfare for us.

    • Please also pray for the Pastor and his wife who came. They had some things happen with their daughter when they got back and with the church body in the states. They too seem to be under attack by the enemy. Pray protection over them. Pray for their daughter who is really struggling with suicidal thoughts and has not accepted Christ. Pray for wisdom for him as a pastor, his heart is really breaking for his daughter and his family right now, while also trying to shepherd a church. Also pray for peace for him.

Please be in prayer over the English club this year as we started back this past Saturday. We will only be working with the kids 4-12 years old this year. We will also be starting the girls Bible study back this coming week. Pray for Faith as she prepares for this, for the Holy Spirit to show her exactly what to speak on and teach the girls. May the girls truly grow in their walk with the Lord. Please lift up Andrea who is a new teen believer, but struggling with wanting to be part of the small discipleship group for discipleship. Please also pray for Faith, as after the team shared with our youth group their testimonies, two girls shared with Faith some very personal things about them. Pray God to give Faith wisdom on how to pray for these girls, how to support them, and help them.

    • Please continue to pray for our family as we foster the little 4 year old, with disabilities. It is such a joy and delight God led us to this, but at times with all the therapy, etc. is also a struggle. He has learned how to pray, tries to sing during our Tuesday night worship with the teens, and plays an air guitar. When it's time for bed he wants me (Faith) to sing Jesus Loves me, and he almost knows the whole song in English.

    • We praise God for the encouragement we have received and the response we have received  in regards to helping with our support. We still have a huge deficit, but it has been an encouragement to see God start to provide, and know that people are praying and partnering with us here to help spread the gospel to the teens in Mangalia. Please keep praying for provision for this deficit, but also praise God for the work He has already started to do.
