Prayer

Daily Prayer Requests

  • I would appreciate prayers for my son. He recently graduated from NNU and is now seeking employment, hopefully in his field, EE & CS. Been at the books so long….this is a new experience . He loves Jesus & Boise. Thank you.

  • A close friend is getting an ultrasound today to see if he has testicular cancer. Please, please be praying that this is nothing serious, and if it is, that the Lord will heal him. I truly appreciate your prayers, thank you!

  • I ask that you pray for my marriage. My husband has an addictive personality and has recently relapsed in his addiction. This has been an ongoing battle and I thought it was getting better but please pray that he is free from this so that our marriage can survive, thank you.

  • Please pray for my niece to find a house. Her house just sold but she hasn't been able to find anything so far in her price range. Please pray the Lord will be glorified and that she will know deep in her spirit that God is with her and will help her. Right now she's in a hotel with her 3 kids. Thanks.

  • Update: The woman who had surgery to relieve brain swelling is still in ICU. She had a heart attack while under sedation due to the blood clot.  There is no additional swelling the brain bleed has stopped  The next 24 hours are critical.  Pray for her and for her family.  Pray for God’s will be done and if she is to go Home, He would take her peacefully and swiftly with no more on her body.

  • Please pray Jacob & Tara O'Brien who are MAF missionaries and sent the following update and prayer requests:

    • What a busy week! I was asked to preach this Sunday and I am excited to have the opportunity! We were able to open a new airstrip to serve a brand new Bible school in the far north or the county last week and tomorrow I get to go there to deliver Bibles and get checked out at the new airstrip! I will get to spend the night there and I am excited to share more of the story with you all!

    • Calvary Boise gave us a gift to buy Lingala and French Bibles which is a constant need in Congo. We are able to buy them and are so touched to see the tears of joy when people receive them!

    • Tara has been working hard learning Lingala while walking Emma to school in the mornings.

    • Pray for continued safety in our operations.

    • Pray for our Lingala learning efforts!

    • Pray that we would be an encouragement to the rest of our team in Kinshasa.

    • Pray that the work in Budjala would be fruitful.

    • Pray that we would look to Jesus for strength in everything we do.
