Prayer

Daily Prayer Requests

  • Please pray for the ladies driving home today from the retreat. Pray for travel mercies on the roads and that they would come home filled with the Holy Spirit in such abundance that is spill over on to every one they meet!  Thank You Lord for this past weekend and the time spent with You!

  • My dad was diagnosed with colon cancer this morning. Prayers for healing and support for my family, and for guidance for my parents on how to navigate this in their marriage.

  • Praises that after my bad toothpain I am feeling so much better. I had to go to the dentist and have a tooth pulled, but since then I am not in pain.  Also thankful for the prayers because I have not been having nightmares!

  • Please pray that God would heal my health problems and the same for my husband, and against spiritual attack for us.

  • Please continue to pray for Andreal to find the right doctor.  Please pray that she would find hope through the Holy Spirit
  • Please pray for our missionary to Romania, Natalie Bridges who sent the following updates and prayer requests:

    • A miracle happened!  The orphanage girls went to school this week!!!  It’s the first time in over a year and they are so happy!  Thank you for praying for them!  One of the girls had a bad first day and they didn’t let her go back, so please pray that they will let Nicoleta return to school.

    • I was able to work more with the bed-ridden girls since the others were in school and I was amazed at how the two girls I worked with one day responded to my singing Romanian children’s worship songs.  The joy they had started with a slight smile and turned into snorting laughter.  It was incredibly amazing to see.

    • The orphanage also had a team of high school students from an international school in Vienna.  They were a great group of kids and I was able to share my testimony and the gospel message with several of the students and the teachers.

    • I do have a huge request for one of the orphanage workers.  Stela is the only worker who is a believer has been falsely accused of misconduct towards the children by a fellow colleague.  Stela was so distraught that she wanted to kill herself.  Thankfully, she did not and we have been praying for her and the situation.  They want to move her to a different location, but she does not want to leave.  Please pray that God will intervene and fight for her and that her name will be cleared.

    • Please pray for the team from Calvary Boise coming this summer.  It looks like we will not be able to do our normal English Camp, so we need direction from the Lord as to which things we should do instead.  We have many options that include a revised English camp for Ukrainian children, a VBS in a nearby gypsy village, a basketball camp, visiting the orphanage etc.  We appreciate your prayers for all the logistics and preparation.
