Prayer

Daily Prayer Requests

  • Prayers for our church, church staff, volunteers, hired help, and whomever I might be forgetting. It takes real people to carry these amazing tasks that benefit SO many. In my eyes, easily over looked. In my experience, I know I can rely on all these people to help my family in time of need. As a human we know we all experience trials. These church people who support us continuously, are not an exception of circumstance. I really don’t know any details related to our support system, however I do know the people who support our family within church staff/volunteer/etc. are truly amazing and are appreciated. I ask for prayer for ALL of those who are called to serve others to be lifted up, filled with the Holy Spirit, and given strength and wisdom to meet the needs of so many, our church family.

  • Please pray for my grandfather Ed Sandy. He’s 88 years old and has lived alone in Oregon until a recent accident at home. He’s going into surgery tomorrow and is suffering from a serious fall. He will need aftercare and we are praying for soft

  • hearts and that the Lords will be fulfilled during these difficult times.

Please lift up Cheri and a situation she is having with her neighbor.

  • Please pray for Dolores as she heals from spine surgery this week. Pray for a swift healing and full recovery.

  • Pray for a young woman asking for the Holy Spirit to come upon her and guide her life and choices.

  • Please pray for our missionaries to Slovenia, Ales and Whitney Lajar who sent the following updates and prayer requests:

    • This Friday the 28th, Whitney and our older kids, along with another 20 youth, are heading to Chech, where they will join about 20 different Fusion teams from around Europe, to have two days of concerts. The event is called Fusiondary (https://fusiondary.fusionjv.eu/), where about 600-700 teens gather, share their faith and culture with each other, and have a blast. Our team prepared 4 songs, and will do a 20 minute concert. Please pray for the leaders to really invest and connect with our kids from Slovenia, and have a great time.

    • On Sunday the 30th Aleš is heading to a Langham Preaching conference in Austria, where he is getting further training, as he stepped into the role as one of three main leaders/facilitators of Langham expositional preaching (https://langhampreaching.org/) in Slovenia. Please pray for his time there, so that he would grow and connect with other leaders from Europe, who have a heart for expositional preaching.

    • We are fervently praying for open doors as we have outgrown the current building and the landlady is not willing to sell it for a normal price, so we are looking for other possibilities. There is an option to rent a movie theatre, but it’s currently a bit out of reach. Praying that God’s will is made clear and that the finances will be available.
