DAILY PRAYER REQUESTS

--

December 29

Daily Devotional

Give ear to my words, O Lord. Consider my meditation.” Psalm 5:1.

Meditation upon the word of God, upon the promises to the prayerful, upon the answers to prayer recorded in the Bible, will keep the fires burning upon the altar of prayer.

Prayer Requests

  • Please pray for Amy to come to the end of herself, accept Jesus and allow him to transform her life. She is not living with her husband and has left him devastated. Pray that her heart is changed and her marriage saved.

  • Please keep praying for Hallie’s uncle Mike. He is still hospitalized andis unable to eat or drink.  They did surgery yesterday to implant a feeding tube in his stomach.  He doesn’t have movement on his left side but by God’s grace he started to move his toes! They will be moving him from St. Luke’s to Elks Rehab today. Pray for his healing.

  • Please keep praying for Greg’s son Caleb and his brother Steve. Please pray for God’s mercy and healing for their medical issues.

  • Please pray for our leaders both in the church and in our government.

  • Please pray for the week of prayer and fasting that will occur in January. Pray that it will cause our church family to draw closer to the Lord and to pursue His will more fervently.

  • Keep praying for the young man with the brain tumor who needs to decide whether or not to have authorize surgery.  His mother is very concerned about him and his survival chances. Pray that he makes the right choice soon and that God will provide his mom with peace and comfort.

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us, and if we know that He hears us, we know we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. - I John 5:14-15
