Prayer

Daily Prayer Requests

  • Pray for Boise Rescue Mission’s service this coming weekend. Pray for souls to get saved and delivered from drugs and alcohol.  Pray for people to get plugged in to community and church fellowship.

  • Pray for our leaders to repent and turn to the Lord for guidance.

  • Pray for Jerusalem.

  • Please pray for my 98 year old mom. She fell last night at home and was taken by ambulance to the hospital.  They are x-raying to check for a fracture in her arm and she also hit her head.  Her blood pressure is too high.  Thank you for praying.

  • A brother is currently struggling with his faith as he tries to figure out how to overcome alcoholism. Pray that God will help him see that God loves him no matter what.

  • Please pray for our missionaries to Canada, Marlon and Becca Brown who sent the following updates and prayer requests:

    • Prayer for my health (this is Becca) it’s always a hard thing to ask for prayer because it’s been chronic. But I also know that I shouldn’t just do it alone, I know that that’s what the body of Christ is there for, to love and build each other up in prayer and encouragement. So I am asking for prayer. I am struggling a lot right now. My body isn’t doing well, and I can’t hold food or fluid well. I just had a procedure yesterday, and even though it was painful, after I heal it should help a lot with my head and the nerve damage. Then I will have surgery in about a month or two. Prayer that I would be still and really rest with Jesus, that I would believe He is near, and not lose hope that I am up and down, and not always able to do what I would like. One minute I am able to play tea party with my daughter, or meet a lady from church for lunch. Then the next day I may be in bed in pain. So it’s draining, I am taking a season of doing less at church, to really heal and be with Him. So prayer for our family in this time. Thankful for my beautiful babies,  my oldest just serves me, he isn’t afraid to hold a bucket for me, or carry me to the washroom. So there are many things to be thankful for, I just want faith to truly believe that.

    • Prayers for Marlon. Man what a blessing he is. He is like in this whole new season of healing. From his failures and pains of serving here and how lonely and draining it can be. He has just really turned to just being still more and resting in Christ. Because of that, he is serving the people in the church with such a passion. Prayers for a covering over him, and strength in this season.  Prayer for a friend here for Marlon that he can have brotherly conversations and support. Prayer as he leads our family and our church. Pray for humility and grace.
