DAILY PRAYER REQUESTS
For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. Luke 2:11
“Merry Christmas!
Many of us are blessed with friends, family and frivolity this holiday season. But for others Christmas is a hard reminder of life gone wrong. No matter where you're a this holiday season, Jesus is able to intervene in your life. He is capable of transforming you, propelling you down a path of spiritual growth and productive living by the power of His Holy Spirit. Today, thank God that Jesus is the savior, delivering us from the ways of a wicked world, the pain inflicted by others and our own sinful nature. He has paid the penalty for the sins of humanity - - - for once and for all.
Prayer Requests:
-
Pray for all who are lonely this Christmas season. Ask that the light of the Christ Child will shine into their hearts and bring them to a place of repentance. Pray that all will see that Jesus is the only hope for any of us.
-
An anonymous woman asks that we pray for her husband who has a drinking problem but will not pursue counseling or join AA. Pray that he will get help and come to know Jesus. Pray for all those who struggle with addictions, especially during the holidays when there is so much temptation.
-
Pray for an anonymous man who has been diagnosed with a brain tumor and given no more than five years to live without a radical and difficult operation. He is a single dad of a teenage boy. Please pray for healing. Also ask that he will be approved for an experimental cancer treatment program. Pray too that his seizures will decrease so he enjoy the holidays with his son. Pray for all those with ill family members. Please continue to pray for the Abernathy family and Addie’s healing.
