Prayer

Daily Prayer Requests

  • I have had some scary things going on in my body. It has made me be unable to be as present for my kids and husband as I would like or they need. I am asking not only for healing and insight for the doctors, but that I don’t lose sight of Him and get lost in the panic. That I won’t lose my peace through the suffering. Thank you.

  • Keep praying for my mom Beverly, my sister Jan, and her husband Kent. They were all in the hurricane that hit SW Florida. Pray for the people who are displaced from their homes. Pray Jesus would be the one they rely on. Pray for power to be restored and needs to be met. Thank you and God bless.

  • I have a lot of health issues that no one’s been able to fix since I was 24. It’s been almost 20 years. I can’t work because of them. We couldn’t have kids because of them. There are so many other things I’d like to do that I can’t because of them. I’m hoping that my doctor will let me try a new medication that could really help, but it’s unusual. Please pray she’ll let me try it. If it worked for me, it could change my life.

  • Please pray the Lord brings my wife back home to me soon. That he gets her away from the people she's staying with who are & have been destroying their lives & others with drugs. Who lie & manipulate and speak against our marriage & beliefs. That the Lord restore our marriage and love for one another. Amen

  • Please pray Jacob & Tara O'Brien who are MAF missionaries and sent the following update and prayer requests:

    • Jet fuel is now available again in Kinshasa, but it will take time to replenish our fuel stores in the interior. Today I loaded two 55 gallon drums of jet fuel in the back of my plane to refuel once I landed in Karawa to pick up a team helping the missionaries there, since there was no fuel in the area. The fuel complications have delayed the opening of the new airstrip in Gwenze, but we hope to send someone to inspect it in the near future.

    • We were paid a surprise visit by Pastor Jean this week! He is staying with us for a few days while accomplishing some exciting church planting work in Brazzaville and checking in on orphanages in Kinshasa.

    • This week please pray:

    • Pray for continued safety in our operations.

    • Pray for the new airstrip opening in Gwenze.

    • Pray that we would form quality relationships with our neighbors.

    • Wisdom as we integrate into our church.

    • Pray that we would look to Jesus for strength in everything.
