Prayer

Daily Prayer Requests

  • Please pray for an urgent unspoken prayer request.

  • I have someone moving in with me in a couple of weeks. My house is trashed and needs work done to accommodate her pets. I have a lot of work to do. She is coming over this Tuesday, discuss everything from rent to our own expectations. I know my house will not be ready. Please pray that I will not get too overwhelmed with preparations and that my shoulders and back will hold out. Also pray that our discussions go well.

  • We need prayer for a serious car problem that is preventing us from driving anywhere including to church & Bible study. The repair shop is having problems locating needed parts & the cost will be very expensive. Please pray for quick & affordable repairs and for our finances. Thanks & God bless, amen.

  • My husband was a peace officer in Portland Oregon for 12 years. We are fairly new to the area and because he has decided to pursue a different career path, he has struggled to find a career that pays well. He is currently a project manager for a construction company which we are thankful for, however the pay is substantially lower than we need. My prayer request is that God opens doors for him as he is working so hard for our family and working on the side as well. He is feeling defeated and exhausted. If God wants him to go back into law enforcement, I would love prayer for a change of heart with an open mind for him.. Thank you.

  • Please pray for our missionary to Romania, Natalie Bridges who sent the following updates and prayer requests:

    • This week has been a tough one at the orphanage.  We got two new children with severe special needs and several of the other children have developed both auto-aggressive behavior as well as violent outbursts without provocation.   Unfortunately, I took the brunt of one girl’s fury this morning.  Please pray that God will give us wisdom to best help the children and opportunities to be a witness to the staff.  Please continue to pray that the renewal accreditation process will be completed quickly and smoothly.  Please keep Laura (our director) and her family in prayer for their salvation and the stress that Laura is under, especially pray that she will be able to sleep.  She has extremely bad insomnia and her husband arrived in Syria and is having a hard time adjusting.

    • I want to praise the Lord that 4 of the after-school kids came to church again on Sunday and we spent the afternoon together.  Please pray that they will continue to come!   Also, Nicolas is doing better!  Thank you for praying for him! It’s a big adjustment for him, but last week was much better!
