DAILY PRAYER REQUESTS

Friday, December 8

Daily Devotional

“Then Jacob said, O God of my father Abraham, and God of my father Isaac, the Lord who said to me, ‘Return to your country, and to your family and I will deal well with thee.’  Deliver me I pray. . .For you said, ‘I will surely treat you well, and make your descendants as the sand of the sea. . .”  Genesis 32:9-12.

Our Lord does not need to be reminded of His promises to the people He loves so much. He never forgets that we are the object of His love and compassion. Instead, it is we who need to be aware of the depth of His commitment and strength of His power. Reflecting on God's desire to "deal well" with us, breathes confidence into our prayer life and builds our faith.

 Prayer Requests:

  • Maranantha!!!  Jesus is coming back!  Praise God! Eight decisions for Christ recently were made at the Nampa Rescue Mission.  Praise God for prayer groups to support the expanding ministry.

  • Pray for our president.  Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

  •   LC asks that we join in praising the Lord for His faithfulness.  The request reads: “November was my five- year anniversary at work. It’s the longest I’ve worked in one place. I’m thankful for the stability and guidance my Heavenly Father gives me day by day.”

  • Please pray for the Jr. High kids and leaders as they leave for Winter Camp at noon today.  Please  ask that God would provide them with safe driving conditions and that each of them would be touched by the Holy Spirit as they go through the Word with Pastor Reggie.

  • Pray for James to be drawn to God more and more and to realize just how much God loves Him.

  • Pray for all those affected by the California fires to draw closer to God as a result of this tragedy. May the Lord’s power, grace and love be revealed.

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us, and if we know that He hears us, we know we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. – I John 5:14-15
