Prayer

Daily Prayer Requests

  • Please pray for all those who are participating in this weekend’s pride celebrations. Pray for eyes and hearts to be opened to the truth, and for protection for the kids who will be involved. Pray also that any interactions with Christians would happen in a way that would glorify God.

  • I have a dear friend having spinal surgery next week. She is a believer and we are confident God is, and will continue to, work through her and this difficulty.  Praying for our witness to the hospital staff, for the surgeon’s hands and a smooth and successful surgery, and for the post-op recovery.  Praying for God’s gracious mercy in healing, in perseverance, in comfort, in revelation, in peace.  So thankful for His unrelenting faithfulness to us.

  • I am unable to pay my rent this month and am unsure of a way out of my current financial predicament. Prayers and/or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

  • Salvation for my husband Eric. May God soften his heart to Have a deep love and personal relationship with Jesus. May he be delivered by any bitterness and darkness. That he will give his life to Christ and be baptized in the Holy Spirit.

  • Please pray for our missionaries to Germany, Clark and Ann Peddicord who sent the following updates and prayer requests:

    • Please pray specifically for:
Sarah - she is finishing up her Master’s degree in Social Work and weighing whether to use her training in government or a church context.
Khalil - an Arab Christian from Israel; Khalil is finishing his automotive engineering degree and dreams of going into Motor Sport with his faith.
Hannah - has finished her Master’s degree in Social Work and theology and will be working with a church this coming year. She’ll be leaving the Haus in December.
Please also ask God to bring just the right new students when these folk move out.
           -  Last, not least, please pray that we will have wisdom how to best use our time and personal energy and resources. Our daughter, Seanne (the film-maker), challenged me to put the video study of the Gospel of John into a “podcast” form that her friends and colleagues more easily can listen to and use. Please pray that we’ll know if this is something we should undertake - and when.
