Prayer

Daily Prayer Requests

  • Pray for the mission trip to Oaxaca! The group is leaving today so pray for their safe travels and for each person to be touched by God in a major way!

  • Prayers for a family driving home 7 hours today from their Fourth of July vacation. Pray for safe travels.

  • My relationship ended. We’d been talking about marriage and I’m a bit lost. I’m not sure what God’s plan is at the moment but any prayers for us to mend our relationship or for healing would be appreciated.

  • Please continue to lift up Derrick. The infusion is working and he starting to feel better.  Pray that he would recover quickly so he can get the surgery he needs.

  • Please pray for our missionaries to Slovenia, Ales and Whitney Lajar who sent the following updates and prayer requests:

    • Praise reports:

    • All our kids have finished out their school year, and Lanea is now officially a high schooler. They will all be attending 4 different Christian camps this summer, with our Music Fusion camp happening this week as I write this.

    • Aleš spent 4 days in Monte Negro in mid June, where 200 men from ex-Yugoslavian counties gathered to worship God and build up the local church there through street evangelism and concerts, and to strive for unity among nations torn by conflict and wars in the past. One of the guys (Borut) that came with us gave his life publicly to the Lord to follow him and live life for him.

    • We had a church baptism at the beginning of June, and another one is happening this coming Sunday. We set up a pool on our church yard for that purpose and to facilitate a fun summer for our church families to have access to a cool off during the heat of summer.

    • Whitney got to enjoy a few days off at the coast two weeks ago, as a missionary paid for an AirBnb to host moms with lots of kids in Slovenia that are serving in ministry.

    • We finished out our Fusion ministry with two concerts, one at the capital (Ljubljana) and the other at our church. It was amazing seeing Lanea, Daniel, Huntley and Whitney all singing and playing different instruments at the concert.

    • We also wrapped up our preaching club, which equipped two young men (Urh and Lorens) to teach at our church in different portions of 1st John that we taught through as a group in these last couple of months.
