DAILY PRAYER REQUESTS

And the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. John 6:37.

“This man receives sinners” and He turns away no one. We come to Him in weakness and sin, with trembling faith, small knowledge, and slender hope; but He does not cast us out. We come by prayer, often by imperfect prayer; with confession, and that confession faulty; with praise, and that praise far short of its merits; but He receives us.  We come diseased, polluted, worn out, and worthless; but He never turns us away.  Let us come again today to Him who never casts us out.

This promise is very wide, “The one (anyone) who comes.”  Anyone— no matter who they are—who really comes to Christ will find acceptance and blessing.  The main thing is to get to Christ, to come indeed to Him.  He has pledged Himself not to cast out those who come.  Believe and pray that promise.  The fact that we have sinned should not keep us away. Indeed when we have sinned there is all the more reason that we should come. Come today just as you are and Christ will not turn you away.--Anonymous

Prayer Requests

  • Pray for the Jr. High Winter Camp next weekend. Pray for clear roads and safe travel conditions. Pray that the Lord provides the necessary funds for parents of kids who truly want to be there but are struggling to pay the fees. Pray for Camp Pinewood to be ready for us. Pray for the leaders serving these kids to be so filled with the Holy Spirit that the fruit of the Spirit pours off of them onto the kids.

  • Please pray for Paige. She has been broken by the poor decisions she has made in her search for satisfaction yet she is still not turning towards God. Please pray that God would captivate her heart and she would turn to Him for her fulfillment.

  •  Pray that the Lord will send a Christian family to rent the Fiolas’ house—pray for a family that will love it and will continue to invite Jesus in because it was God who provided it and blessed the Fiolas with it four years ago.

  • Sarah Van Brunt, administrator of Send Hope Now, asks that we pray for her grandfather as he recovers from the first in a series of surgeries to help him walk. His spinal cord is extremely compromised and he may be paralyzed if the surgeries do not go well. Pray that he will be healed and understand that his healing is from the Lord.

  • Deb is requesting prayer for her injured knee.  She is praising God that she has surgery schedule December 5. Continue to pray for His comfort for her during this Christmas season since she is not able to walk and has many family obligations; taking care of grandchildren, etc.  Also pray that God will reveal His perfect will in her life.

  • Please pray for Derek and his wife. Their marriage is in jeopardy and they need God’s guidance.

  • Please pray for Mary. Her dad is dying and her husband is in very poor health. Ask that Jesus will be her hope and comfort.
