Prayer

Daily Prayer Requests

  • We are praying for our son, Joshua’s recovery. He is a born again Christian. He fell suddenly ill and a large mass was found in his stomach. We praise God, the biopsy was negative for cancer. He has been hospitalized for a week. We are praying his digestive system starts functioning on its own. Thank you for your support in prayer. God is good.

  • Please pray for my daughter-in-law Machaela, she is 7 months pregnant and just found out she has gestational diabetes. They are worried she will have preeclampsia and will need to be put on bedrest. They are hoping her body can last and that they can induce in 37 weeks. Please pray Machaela can carry my grandson Luka until then and both will be healthy. Thank you!

  • Please pray for AB she was diagnosed with breast cancer this week.

  • Father help Kristine pray her chase to be led only by you not her human wisdom. Help Debi to pray and remember Sandra’s years of service, and may Carolyn know Your love.

  • Please pray for our missionaries to Slovenia, Ales and Whitney Lajar who sent the following updates and prayer requests:

    •  Last week's meeting with our landlady didn't go ideally, yet it was a huge answer to our prayers, and the recent visions God has given us concerning our church building. Right now she doesn't really want to sell the building (at least not at the market value), but would sell it for €400.000 if a buyer would purchase it at a higher price. There are also major restrictions that the government has placed on her property, as far as doing anything with the land and the building. All that to say, we can continue renting it without any concern she would sell it to someone else, and the potential investor wants to wait to see if the government has any near future plans, before making any final decisions. So for now, not much will change, probably in the next half a year to a year, yet we will still continue praying for God to do something miraculous.

    • The gathering for women that we held for Easter last Saturday went amazing well. There was a real presence of unity among women, the worship and fellowship was really blessed, and many women cried and felt great relief during the sketch. Thank you for your prayers.

    • Urh and Doroteja (our youth workers) came back from America, after being there for six weeks, raising support and sharing what God is doing in Slovenia with dozens of believers and a couple of churches. Their trip was really successful, yet they both said how happy they are to be back home and get into their lives routine and ministry.

    • Aleš' grandpa is still in the hospital fighting to stay alive, but the reason why we are including him in the praise report is because Aleš, Whitney, Lanea, and Daniel had a really good couple of hours with him last Friday, to say goodbye to him, if he won't survive this severe pneumonia. He was awake the entire time, recognised us all, said a few faint words and was definitely doing better. However, since last Friday, he has been going down hill, has been mostly unresponsive and his lungs are continually deteriorating. More and more oxygen is given to him just to keep him breathing.
