Prayer

Daily Prayer Requests

  • My sister in law was just diagnosed with Breast/lymph node and bone cancer. I as prayer for healing if that is Gods will and do a miracle for his glory and so my brother and sister in law come to know Christ as their savior. Pray for his healing and comforting hand.

  • Can you please pray for me? I’m a single mom who is not staying on top of things. I recently went through some things that broke me. I just want to do a good job but I’m scattered and unmotivated. I’m having nightmares, and having trouble sleeping in general. I can’t seem to move forward. I can’t even decide what direction to go with life. I can’t get my house clean and my garden hasn’t been touched for almost two years. My kids aren’t doing great in school, and I’m not doing the things with them that I want to.

  • Please pray for my son. He says he is Christian by still walks in his darkness. Not sure if I’m the one who should talk to him in love. My son is an adult. Please pray for our situation. I need wisdom from the Lord. My son came into this world as a promise from God.

  • Please pray for my sister and her marriage. It is ending and although she and her husband have always walked with the Lord faithfully, he has fallen away.  She wants to honor God in her marriage but her husband doesn’t’ want to try at all.

  • Please pray for my husband who was once a faithful believer. Ask that he will return to Jesus and acknowledge Him as Lord and Savior.

  • Please pray for our missionaries to Germany, Clark and Ann Peddicord who sent the following updates and prayer requests:

    • The darkness that has risen in Europe can threaten to overwhelm one’s imagination
The prophet Isaiah warns of those who call “evil good and good, evil”.

    • As you continue to pray for the people of the Ukraine please pray especially for the People of God there - many young churches have been started since Independence in 1991. They matured and began sending out missionaries to Russia and other Russian-speaking nations - and now… THIS. It should probably not surprise us that the Darkness has risen against such a bright spiritual light.

    • Please pray that God’s hand will hold Putin and his cronies back from the brink of using tactical nuclear weapons if (as seems likely) their military plans don’t seem to be working out!

    • Please pray for the student and leadership team in “Haus Nazareth” in Berlin.  A young Ukrainian refugee mother and her two children, along with their grandmother, arrived yesterday. The students have arranged everything for them to live temporarily in the Haus “living room” (we call it the “Volks-kitchen” = like a “Volks-wagen is a “people’s car” ;-)  We don’t know how long they’ll have to be there.

    • Pray too for the other 2,000,000 refugees fleeing the fighting.

    • Pray, too, for the Russian people - they are not our enemies but in a very real sense also the victims of an evil and repressive government. Pray, for instance, for the young churches and many folk who have become believers there to find access to the truth of what is really happening in the Ukraine. Specifically, pray also for the true Christians in the Russian Orthodox Church who stand in opposition to Putin’s war. Pray that the Patriarch and other Church leaders will find the courage to stand for truth and peace.
