DAILY PRAYER REQUESTS

November 16

“Turn away my eyes from looking at worthless things, And revive me in Your way.”  Psalm 119:37.

Could the psalmist have imagined all the noise vying for the attention of Christian minds today? Would he have found anything of value in our daily dose of modern media? Take a minute and think about screen time. Do your eyes turn to things that bring glory to God? Just for today, avoid the passing pleasure of worthless things, knowing that our God calls us to so much more. Seek the leading of the Spirit. Allow Him to use your time for what is valuable. - - - C. Maile

Prayer Requests

  • Pray for health, healing, and that I will be able to find work.

  • Please pray for Tina, a mother and wife, who is suffering from cancer that has spread. She can no longer work. Pray that she and her family will come to know the Lord and He will give her peace, comfort and healing!

  • Please pray for Vanessa who is involved in an unhealthy relationship with a much older man. Pray that she will remember her Christian upbringing and allow Jesus to direct her personal life. Pray that the Lord will lead her to a godly man her own age and establish her in a solid marriage.

  • Pray for God to continue renewing my mind that His word is in my thoughts and that I’m able to help others come to Christ.

  • Please pray for my wife Alyssa.  She has been in pain and the doctors don’t know why yet.  She has also had a hard time at work.  She is looking for a new rewarding job that she will love and that will also her to do well for others.

  • An anonymous request asks that we “Pray for my daughter Jude, my ex Hayden, my family and to guide me to Jesus and God.  Please Jesus, forgive me for all my sins!” Pray that this person comes to an awareness of the grace, mercy and love of Jesus and is assured of salvation through him.

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us, and if we know that He hears us, we know we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. - I John 5:14-15
